Yes. Every Salind 4G tracker connects through the FINDER Portal, which requires an active subscription. Hardware and subscription are separate contracts, so the device is yours but the connectivity and app access run on the subscription.
The M2M SIM is pre-installed in the device — you never see it or touch it. 4G LTE data is included in your subscription, in all 161 supported countries. There are no roaming fees, top-ups, or extra data plans to manage.
Your subscription starts the moment you activate the device at start.finder-portal.com. Until then, the device sits idle — even if it's been out of the box for weeks.
