Yes. Every Salind tracker needs a subscription to work, and these are the Australian prices: Basic is $18/month, $126 for 1 year ($10.50/mo) or $180 for 2 years ($7.50/mo). Premium is $87 for 6 months ($14.50/mo), $144 for 1 year ($12/mo) or $216 for 2 years ($9/mo). The price includes everything: the SIM card is already installed, the mobile data is included and so is the app. You pay nothing at checkout: you set up the subscription when your tracker arrives, at start.finder-portal.com, where you'll see the exact price for your country.
Because a live GPS tracker has to send its position over the mobile network, and mobile data always costs money, no matter who sells the tracker. Trackers advertised with "no monthly fee" usually make you buy and top up your own SIM card, or they start charging for data after the first year. Salind puts the SIM and all data into one honest price that you see before you buy. No top-ups, no surprise bill later.

Yes. You can upgrade from Basic to Premium at any time inside the FINDER Portal. The price difference is prorated against the remainder of your current term.
Your subscription starts the moment you activate the device at start.finder-portal.com. Until then, the device sits idle — even if it's been out of the box for weeks.
Yes. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of the term you chose (monthly, yearly or every 2 years), so to end it, cancel before the next renewal date. We recommend doing that about 2 weeks ahead, since processing your cancellation can take a few days. You'll find everything under "Account" after logging in to the FINDER Portal. And if you'd rather pause than cancel, you can do that too.
Yes. Depending on the term you chose, it renews automatically every month, every year or every 2 years, and it keeps renewing until you cancel. You can cancel anytime before the next renewal date in your FINDER Portal account.
Yes. Pausing keeps all your route data, so you pick up right where you left off. Cancelling deletes the device data completely. You'll find both options under "Account" when you log in to the FINDER Portal. Pausing is handy if your motorcycle or caravan spends the winter in storage.
Yes. One FINDER Portal account shows all your trackers on one map: the car, the van, the caravan. Each device does need its own subscription though, because each tracker has its own built-in SIM card with its own connection costs.
That depends on your plan: Basic keeps 3 days of route history, Premium keeps a full 365 days. If you pause your subscription, your data stays saved. If you cancel, the device data is deleted.
